How it works
Many patients have records spread across hospitals, labs, specialists, primary care offices, and old patient portals. MedRecQR is designed to help patients bring copies into one patient-controlled place, then decide what to share and with whom.
Patient links Google Drive or Dropbox using a limited app permission model.
Records are labeled into categories like labs, imaging, medications, primary care notes, specialist notes, discharge summaries, procedures, and emergency information.
Patient creates a QR code, secure link, or email share for a provider, hospital, caregiver, or medical office.
If the patient chooses, a doctor or office can upload documents directly to the patient’s cloud folder. If not, the patient can upload and organize documents manually.
Patient can opt into an Emergency QR for lock screen, wallet card, or printed access to selected urgent information.

The first beta should focus on people who already feel the pain of scattered records: families, caregivers, frequent travelers, patients seeing multiple specialists, and anyone moving between doctors or hospitals.
When a patient is asked for records from five different offices, MedRecQR gives them one organized place to start.
Family members can help keep medication lists, allergies, contacts, and major documents ready when care gets complicated.
A patient can choose to create an Emergency QR for urgent access to medications, allergies, conditions, contacts, and key recent records.
Records should not be trapped in one clinic portal when a patient moves, travels, changes insurance, or sees a new specialist.

Privacy-first explanation
The planned architecture keeps medical files in the patient’s own cloud account. MedRecQR should only store lightweight metadata such as file name, category, cloud provider, share status, and link expiration.

We are preparing a small private beta with about 10 to 20 testers first. The goal is to validate whether patients can organize records, share them with providers, and use Emergency QR safely and easily before a wider launch.
Please do not include medical information, diagnoses, test results, or record attachments in this beta interest form.
